Adoption Policies & Fees

If you are interested in adopting a specific kitten, please submit an application through our Petstablished site. We will review your application and you will hear back from us within 3-5 days if your application is approved. We will then schedule a meet and greet at our next adoption event. Adoptions are held at Petsmart in Fremont and you will be provided an appointment time slot. Dates may vary. Adoption fees are non refundable.

Why adopt through a rescue/shelter?

Each year, it's estimated that more than one million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in the United States, simply because too many pets come into shelters and too few people consider adoption when looking for a pet.

If more people adopted pets instead of buying them, many of these animals would not have to be euthanized.

When you adopt through our rescue, you are saving a cat/kitten and allowing them to be part of your family. This opens up space for another cat or kitten who may desperately need our care and support.

Why do your charge an adoption fee?

When you adopt a cat/kitten through us, they are vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriately), de-flead, and de-wormed. All of this is included in the adoption price.

The cost of spay/neuter alone at a private vet will cost an average of $300-$500 depending on location.

We adopt out at cost, and are not-for-profit organization. We rely heavily on the generous donations of our supporters to help us continue our life saving work.

How can I help?

As a non-profit organization, everything we do is made possible through donations, supplies, and time from members of the community. There are many ways to support our organization, including fostering, volunteering and donating cash or check to help us continue caring for the cats and kittens in our care.
